This is the first step in a 6 month creative project I’m setting up for myself. The antidote (I hope) to doing lots of different things not very well. My blog is a way of keeping track of my process for myself, and hopefully getting feedback from others occasionally along the way. I love taking photos, but all they are doing at the moment is cluttering up my hard drive, largely unsorted and unused. I love using photoshop, but so far have picked about and not got stuck into any real project. I learned how to frame pictures and have done quite a bit, but want to have more focus. I’d like to create my own website with pictures. I don’t mind spending a bit of money, but I think for the first time I’d like to try and earn some from my photos as well. So my next step is to set myself some project targets. So it’s not so big it scares me, I’m just taking a 6 month chunk from now until Easter 2008. But I’ve spent a long time getting started on a blog and it’s now way past my bed time, so that will wait until tomorrow.
